In the first two weeks of my internship, I’ve been getting familiar with my team’s hyperparameter optimization for groundwater level predictions and thinking about how I can create a physics guided neural network to improve our groundwater level predictions.
I am now finishing the third week of my internship, and so far everything has gone swimmingly. The first day, I met with my host, Megsu Hu, to discuss the scope of my position and what I should begin to work on.
