Ella is a rising senior studying Data Science and Public Health. Ella has enjoyed working with the UC Berkeley Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory, where she focuses on analyzing energy use and needs for several communities in California's Central Valley. In summer 2019, she interned as a data scientist at Uplight, an energy focused start-up. She has also volunteered with Grid Alternatives to install solar panels on homes in Salinas, California. In her freetime, Ella enjoys camping, reading, and doing crosswords. Ella is very excited about creating real-world solutions for communities' energy needs, and she looks forward to interning with Heila Technologies this summer.
