Hunter is a rising third year at UC Berkeley majoring in Chemical Engineering. This summer, he will be working at LBNL as a bioenergy quantum sensing intern. Growing up in a rural community, he has always felt very motivated to protect the environment and ecosystem. He is very passionate about renewable energy solutions, environmental sustainability, and energy storage. He plans to use the skills he learns here for a career in renewable energy technology with the hope to mitigate climate change. On campus, he is a project manager for ChemE Car’s enzymatic clock team. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and anything else outdoors
