James Herrigel is a rising junior studying Environmental Economics and Policy with a minor in Sustainable Design. Combining his studies with a background in construction, James is passionate about building energy use management, integration of renewables, and sustainability in construction. He is a member of BEACN, a student-led environmental consulting club, as well as BERC-U, the Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative for Undergraduates. In his free time, James enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and exploring music. He hopes to use the skills gained from his internship to kickstart a career in mitigating the environmental impact of our built environment.
