Marie is a second-year transfer student from Fresno, CA studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). She is interested in applying machine learning to develop methods that make sustainable energy more prevalent. After graduation, Marie plans to work in the Bay Area as a software engineer and adopt a cat. Marie is a UGSI for an electrical engineering class at UC Berkeley and has been teaching math and science since her first year at community college. Her favorite place to study in Berkeley is Romeo’s and her favorite bus is the 6. In her spare time, Marie likes to play guitar, swing dance, and play tennis.
