Research Abstract
Sage Quinn is a rising junior Energy Engineering student with a data science minor. She is interested in all parts of renewable energy and energy-efficient design but currently plans to focus on technology within earth-energy interactions such as geothermal generation and storage. She is a part of various organizations on campus including Engineers Without Borders where she is working to develop and implement a water distribution system for a small village in Nicaragua. She is also a part of Sustainable Housing at California where she has roles as co-director of internal affairs and a member of the Solar Decathlon project team. Additionally, Sage is a part of the Cal Triathlon Team and Ski Club, and when she’s not working or at school, she will probably be skiing, biking, surfing, camping, or doing something else outside. Sage is very excited to be participating in this program and to have the opportunity to develop her skills and interests within alternative energy.
